Bringing hope through discipleship, training, and service

While collaborating with local ministries in South Africa, Meniscus Ministries helped construct the Litsemba Center; an upgrade from the derelict multi-room building in the center of a township in South Africa.

The Litsemba Center provided an approach to holistic community development including discipleship training, HIV counseling, resilience training, micro-enterprise programs, a pregnancy center, and substance abuse and alcohol rehabilitation.

There was also a program started to help feed the local children with supplementary meals. The Litsemba Center provides hope and practical & positive life skills in the midst of an environment where hopelessness, fear, abuse and neglect are rife.
