Who Are We?

Meniscus Ministries is a non-governmental, charitable organization working in under-served areas of the world for the relief of the poor, distressed, and underprivileged by restoring families and transforming communities in service, education, and development.

Meniscus Ministries focuses on equipping indigenous peoples in key areas of social, economic, physical, and spiritual matters. Specifically, we foster transformation in the areas of life-skills development, sustainable economic & food production efforts, vocational skills training, healthy community building, and leadership training.

  • SCOTT AND BECKY LYCAN

    FOUNDERS

    The founders of Meniscus Ministries, Scott and Becky Lycan bring an extensive and diverse background blending more than three decades of experience in business management and industry, traditional church planting and ministry, cross-cultural education, and non-profit community development and missions. They have worked and ministered in the USA, Jamaica, Central and South America, Afghanistan, and in Africa. Scott and Becky are currently the Senior Pastors of Antioch Community Church in Boone, North Carolina. Both Lycans currently serve on the Meniscus Board with Scott filling the role of Chairman of the Board.

  • CHRIS AND JORDAN PACILIO

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Jordan Pacilio is the Executive Director of Meniscus Ministries. Originally from North Carolina, Jordan is the daughter of Scott and Becky Lycan. Jordan joins Meniscus Ministries with 19 years of disaster relief and international development experience in the non-profit and church sectors. Chris and Jordan reside in San Diego, CA with their young son, Maxwell.

Meniscus Ministries works with all interested faith-based works focused on gospel-sowing and indigenous discipleship that yields rapidly reproducing churches. In this regard, we honor denominational traditions, but remain non-denominational in focus.
